8/24 - Summer Pictures |
Back from my 8 weeks in the Adirondacks. Dropped the camera in Low's lake. Moisture got in the lens, fucked up pretty much every single picture. Heres a few that came out alright, you can see the problem in some of them.

5/8 - Nature Photography |
Well Spring has finally hit upstate New York so I decided to go out and take a few shots while I try and study for my seminar class. Got a Green Frog, Midland Painted Turtle, and a Chipping Sparrow along with the evil invasive garlic mustard (white) and i dunno what the yellow one is.. anyone else know?

11/13 Night Time Experimenting |
So I was messing with various aperatures and exposures for night time photography with my new tripod, but I didn't get very far. like 30mph gusts last night. I got 2 shots of my town & the erie canal though that I somewhat like. I altered the one to give it sorta an old, maybe creepy feel.

November 4th - Montezuma |
My mom wanted to take a trip into the Montezuma Wildlife Refuge south of here. Its an enormous wetlands area that is protected by the state and they let you drive through it. I had my camera with me so I took a slew of shots of the area. We fortunatly got to see a great sunset through the clouds while we were there. My slow carcass missed the pictures of the huge cranes though :( But I did get these shots. And yes, those are fish. Lots and lots of fish. The one picture is photomanipulated. I just like the feel of it like that.

November 2nd @ Sodus |
Today my mom wanted me to go out and take some photos of various fall scenes so she has a reference of things to paint. Well, I think I failed miserbly on that account but I did visit Sodus Point on a really really cold day and got a few nice pictures of the Lighthouse and the wave action. The wind was really whippin' today.

Wilderness Camping Trip |
A 1 credit course to go camping for a weekend in the Adirondacks with Marty Dodge, the most brilliant person I ever met. This was a treat and a half. To bad it was overcast/rainy the whole weekend. But everyone was cool about it.

Chimney Bluffs State Park |
In late August I went to Chimney Bluffs State Park and took a a buncha pictures of the really beautiful landscape formed by what I can only imagine would be erosion. The lake you see is Lake Ontario.
